WHAT IS A HOMETOWN HERO?
Hometown Heroes are individuals who serve as the backbone of our communities by keeping them safe. Whether devoting their lives to protecting our country at home and abroad or serving as first responders at the scenes of crimes, fires and natural disasters, these brave Americans risk their lives for us all. A Hometown Hero could be a Veteran or active duty military member, a firefighter, a police officer, or a first responder.
FREE ANNUAL
INSTALLATION
To show our appreciation and gratitude on everyone’s behalf, we will be offering a free annual installation and removal for qualifying families.
We are now accepting nominations for the 2024-25 holiday lighting season.

Gold Star families
Gold Star Families are immediate family members of a fallen service member of the military.

Purple heart recipients
A distinguished military decoration awarded in the name of the President to those who have been wounded or killed while serving in the U.S. armed forces.

Fallen Law Enforcement Officers
Line of duty deaths for fallen law enforcement officers. To honor fallen officers, we display this 1/2 inch mourning band on our badge or shield.
